C-Scape's LED ticker software is display agnostic supporting a wide variety of makes and models of LED Ticker Displays.

To help us identify your LED Ticker Display, please:

  1. Take a picture or video of the ticker ideally with content on it
  2. Note if the display is monochrome, has three colors (Red, Green, Yellow) or is full color
  3. Note any branding on the display
  4. Note any model numbers
  5. Note what software package is being used to run the display
  6. If possible, count how many pixels / LEDs there are per column

Supported LED Ticker Displays

For indoor LED Ticker displays, here are some tips on indentifying displays from several manufacturers whose displays C-Scape's software may be compatible with:

Daktronics®

Daktronics' Ticker displays (Branded as DakTicker®) typically feature the Daktronics name on the front of the display.  Likewise, they will have a product label typically located on the rear of the display indicating the model number.

DakTickers have a distinguishing feature in that the front of the display has black bands across the top and bottom of the display roughly equal in height to eight pixels/dots/LEDs.

Data Display®

Data Display's Tickers typically feature the corporate logo on the front of the display along with a product label on the rear of the display.

Given the serial number of the display, Data Display can determine if the display is compatible with C-Scape's LED Ticker display solutions.

Nu-Media Display Systems

Nu-Media's LED Tickers typically feature their corporate logo on the front of the display along with a product label on the rear of the display.

Nu-Media's LED Tickers have a distinguishing feature in that the pixels/dots/LEDs are square.  There are other manufacturers that utilize Square LEDs, but square LEDs are not commonly used.

Given the serial number of the display, Nu-Media can determine if the display is compatible with C-Scape's LED Ticker software solutions.

Rise Display

Rise resells other firms' LED Ticker displays rebranded as Rise Ticker™.  For tri-color tickers installed between 2000 and 2003 the products were supplied by AMS. Products from 2003 to 2008 were supplied by Daktronics and come in both tri color and eight color models. From 2009 to present tickers are supplied by Sunrise Systems.

If you can share a little about your ticker we can work with Rise to determine if the display is compatible with C-Scape's LED Ticker software.

Sunrise Systems

Sunrise Systems' LED Ticker displays may feature the Sunrise Systems brand on the front of the display.  However, they typically always have a product label located on the rear of the display indicating the model number.

Sunrise Systems' LED Ticker displays typically have a "pigtail" network cable attached to the display (as opposed to using a network jack on the display into which you need to plug your own network cable).

We support many of Sunrise System's LED Ticker displays.

Tickercom

Tickercom resells other firms' LED Ticker displays rebranded as Tickercom.com™.  The displays are typically sourced from Asian suppliers but Tickercom has used domestically built displays in the past.

Please contact us and we can potentially help identify the manufacturer of your Sports Ticker display and the level of support we offer for it.

Trans-Lux®

Trans-Lux has produced the most varied number of Ticker displays ranging from mechanical "flip disc" to RGB LED Ticker displays.

Trans-Lux's Ticker displays will typically have a Trans-Lux brand on the front of the display unless it has been removed or has been installed in a custom enclosure.  Trans-Lux LED Ticker displays should always have a product label on the rear of the display indicating the product model and serial numbers.

We support most all of Trans-Lux's LED Ticker displays.

Unsupported LED Ticker Displays

These are displays that we are often asked about but that we currently do not support.

PhotonPlay

PhotoPlay is based out of India and we are unsure of the origin of manufacture of their displays.  Although we receive frequent calls for replacement of the PhotonPlay supplied software, the protocol for these displays is not publicly available and we are unable to offer our stock ticker solution with our licensed stock data for these displays.

TickerPlay

TickerPlay seems to be a shell company setup in the States by PhotonPlay and we believe the two companies are one in the same.
